Anonymous asked: What movies do you recommend I show my friend who wants to get into horror?

Answer:

classichorrorblog:

I would recommend anthology horror movies.  There is always a variety of stories in them.  So they can get an idea if they like gore, darker horror, comedic horror, etc.  I would recommend

Tales From The Darkside: The Movie

Tales Of Terror

Creepshow

Tales From The Hood

Trick R Treat

V/H/S and V/H/S 2

Cat’s Eye

I feel the V/H/S films are vastly under appreciated. Definite must for a new horror fan.

"I have a GENIUS idea for a TV show. Half cat, half dog. No, no. I already have the perfect name. Get this. “Catdog.” No, don’t worry about how it poops. You’re disgusting. This is a kid’s show."
